INTENSE™ Cams are manufactured from new 8620 billet camshaft blanks.

This is an excellent profile for nitrous oxide injection combined with superchargers such as the M90, MP112, twin-screws or centrifugals. Not for the faint of heart, our new Nitrous/Blower cam grind is designed for 15 to 20 pounds of boost combined with a 100 (or larger) shot! It should NOT not be used with stock cylinder heads and/or stock valvesprings. It is engineered for use with highly modified cylinder heads and oversized valves, and is a perfect match to the INTENSE™ Stage 3 CNC L67 Cylinder Heads. The powerband is incredibly strong from 2,800 to 7,000 RPM, with peak torque at 4,400 RPM and peak horsepower at 6,400 RPM (depending on your nitrous arrangement).

IMPORTANT NOTES:

-We recommend that a new timing chain and timing chain tensioner be installed in conjunction with any new 3800 cam

-We recommend CompCams "OE R Series" Hydraulic Roller Lifters, High Load Valvesprings, and Valvespring Retainers with any aftermarket camshaft

-We recommend INTENSE™ High-Performance Pushrods with any aftermarket camshaft

-INTENSE™ Camshafts are hydraulic rollers, so no break-in period is required

-No PCM changes are required, however the Stage 3 Nitrous/Blower Camshaft WILL set the S.E.S. light.

* Rollmaster timing chain set option can ONLY be returned as a package with the cam it was purchased with. All returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
