As of 2021, ATI has discontinued all dampers for the 3800 engine family. We suggest the Powerbond SFI dampers as a reasonable alternative.

ATI Performance Products SFI-Approved Dampers are designed to reduce crankshaft torsional vibration at high engine speeds, and they virtually eliminate harmonic vibrations. As we predicted they have been proven to make a dramatic reduction in unexplained fastener loosening, breakage and worn parts (i.e. flexplates).

Part numbers ATI-869 and ATI-876 have eight grooves on the front, and these dampers are rated for unlimited horsepower. They meet SFI spec 18-1, which is required by the IHRA and NHRA for any car running 10.99 or faster. They are weighted to perfectly match the factory 'service balance', so they can be installed on any L67, L32, L36, or L26 engine with stock internals, or even engines with the balance shafts removed that have already been 50% balanced. Also included are a brand new ultra-coated crank bolt and washer.

• ATI-869 - 6.9" supercharged and accessory grooves
• ATI-876 - 6.9" accessory 7.6" supercharger grooves (+$75.00)
• ATI-669T - No longer in production - use the ATI-869 supercharger damper, but only the inside set of belt grooves. This is dimensionally the same as the old 669T and a very small amount lighter.
