4T65E Pressure Control Solenoid

APPLICATIONS:

• 1997-2002, 2003+ all applications using the 4T65E transaxle
• 1997-2002, 2003+ all applications using the 4T65E-HD transaxle

In the 4T65E series, the pressure control solenoid is a critical component for managing shifting characteristics.  As your transmission wears, particulates can affect how the solenoid moves.  Because of this, we recommend that you replace the solenoid whenever you rebuild your transmission.

Notes: - In 2003, General Motors made several engineering changes to these transaxles, including the pressure control solenoid, transmission fluid pressure switch, manual shaft and lever assembly, torque signal regulator spring, internal mode switch, pump assembly and valve body assembly. These parts are NOT interchangeable, so please make sure you select the appropriate component for your transmission series.
