Designed specifically for the unique needs of aftermarket engine rebuilders, TriMetal bearings are a rare combination of strength and flexibility. A sturdy steel layer provides maximum support. Then a copper/lead alloy provides strength as well as durability for extended life, even under harsh conditions. Finally, a Babbitt layer provides the embedability and conformability that no bimetal aluminum bearing can achieve. With Clevite 77® engine bearings, it all adds up to superior performance.

INTENSE™ is proud to be the first to announce the newest innovation in 3800 engine bearing technology. These "H-Series" bearings were developed primarily for use in NASCAR type racing but are suitable for all types of competition engines. H-series bearings have a medium level of eccentricity, high crush, and a hardened steel back with thin overlay. These bearings also have enlarged chamfers for greater crankshaft fillet clearance and are made without flash plating for better seating. These bearings are perfect for engines that will see more race duty, but still work well with the rigors of daily driving.
