of your vehicle. This means that even if your car is a 1998, 2000, 2001
or 2002, you won't be required to enter 1999 into a Tech II to perform
a Crankshaft Position Variation (CASE) Learn and that your PCM is undetectable by a dealer.
- Each binary file is written with your correct VIN, so an aftermarket VIN

Ideal for stock to slightly modded cars with induction mods, exhaust
mods,
smaller supercharger pulley and/or rocker arms - features speed limiter
removal,
slightly higher shift points (~6,000 RPM)** and rev limiter (6,200 RPM)

proprietary transaxle shift behavior adjustments**, air/fuel adjustments, automatic ignition
timing
adjustments (+3°), knock retard decay rate adjustment, cooling fan
control
adjustments (180°), cooling fans on at key-off for 180 seconds, will require the use of premium fuel.
- INTENSE Stage 1 binary file - $124.99
Ideal for cars modded with mild aftermarket camshafts (i.e. INTENSE Stage 1 or 1X or ZZP VS) and the
appropriate
supportive mods - features speed limiter removal, cam-specific shift
points
(~6,300 RPM)** and rev limiter (6,500 RPM), proprietary transaxle shift behavior adjustments**, air/fuel adjustments, automatic enhanced ignition timing
adjustments (+4°), knock
retard decay rate adjustment, cooling fan control adjustments (160°), cooling fans on at key-off for 180 seconds,
slightly
increased idle speed (+100 RPM), elimination of random/multiple
misfire, coolant
temperature, inefficient catalyst, EGR and EVAP system trouble codes,

IMPORTANT NOTES:
** The 2001-2005 Grand Prix GTP and 2001-2004 Regal GS (and any other vehicles not originally equipped with Performance Shift) do NOT require the addition of
a performance shift harness to utilize the features of our binary files. Instead, we code your new binary file to automatically invoke firmer shifts and
higher shift points at higher throttle positions. Under light and moderate throttle, your car will shift just like stock. At heavy and full throttle, the
shifts will automatically become much firmer and later.
*** Most common binary files will be e-mailed within one business day.
**** The manual timing adjustment feature requires the purchase of a "Happy Knob",
IAT
Selector Knob or other timing control device to be connected via the IAT analog input channel.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What is the difference between a PCM and a binary file?
A PCM is the actual computer in your vehicle. For 99% of our customers, this is what you want to purchase. The binary file is the actual file that is loaded onto your PCM. You purchase a binary file if you have a tuning suite and want to have a proven starting point for your custom tuning purposes. You cannot do anything with a binary file unless you have tuning software!
Can you make changes to my Brand X binary file?
No.
We will
not
edit calibrations done by any other company or individual.
Did you guys copy someone else's binary file code?
Absolutely not. All of our calibration files are written using OEM
binary
(.bin) files as a starting point. This is how we are able to provide
you with the
correct year, make, model, operating system and VIN.
And this
is also how we are able to introduce aftermarket PCM's and binary files for vehicle
models
that no one else has released yet (i.e. 2000-2003 Bonneville SSEi, 1997.5 & 2003 Regal GS, 2004-2005 Impala SS
and 2004-2005
Monte Carlo SS, and 2004 Grand Prix GT1/GT2, GTP, and GTP CompG).
Have your calibration's been dyno tested?
INTENSE has dynoed more than one-hundred 3800 FWD vehicles, and we
understand
the areas where the factory calibration is holding us back. The bottom line is
that we
now have the ability to make adjustments to hundreds of parameters
within the
calibration. And we have spent many thousands of dollars of dyno time. We can't
guarantee a specific horsepower number for your particular car because
performance
gains from aftermarket calibrations are always highly dependent on your entire
mod
package.
